Lactation Services

The Cradle Company offers an array of services for breastfeeding mothers. Whether you are pregnant and looking for an introduction to this very normal (but not always easy) way to feed your baby, you are already breastfeeding and having challenges, or you are just looking to be around other breastfeeding moms, The Cradle Company can help. Make an appointment with our board certified Lactation Consultant or drop into a support group or prenatal class taught by our certified Lactation Counselor/Educator. We also provide drop-in feeding assessments for minor problems and weighing your baby for intake is always FREE.

Breastfeeding Problems?

You need a Lactation Consultant! Lactation help can be delivered by a number of people: your mom, your sister, your best friend... But the most up to date information and support will come from a Lactation Professional. We offer support from Lactation Educator/Counselors and Lactation Consultants—while both professionals can help with common issues, some advanced issues are best addressed by a Consultant (IBCLC). Please see the list below to help you decipher who you will need to schedule an appointment with.

Breastfeeding problems don't just happen between 9a-5p and you shouldn't have to wait until morning.

We are your late night on-call resource for all things breastfeeding.

Please note: In- Home Consultations are available for most of the Los Angeles Area. If your residence is more than 30 miles from our Pasadena location, there will be an additional $50 charge for an in-home visit. Please understand that our lactation consultant cannot make in-home visits for anything outside a 45 mile radius.
